Blackburn Rovers saw their winless run continue on Tuesday night against Millwall.
Following a goalless first half, substitute Michael Obafemi opened the scoring for the visitors ten minutes after the break.
However, Sam Szmodics pounced for his 20th Championship goal of the season ten minutes later to equalise.
From there though, Blackburn Rovers were unable to find a winner, forcing them to settle for a 1-1 draw at Ewood Park.
As a result, John Eustace is still waiting for his first official win in seven games since taking charge of the club.
That means they are now 17th in the Championship table, just two points clear of the relegation zone.
But with the pressure building, the impact of Arnor Sigurdsson on Tuesday, was at least one positive for Blackburn Rovers.
Arnor Sigurdsson makes an impact from the bench
Moments after Millwall had taken the lead, Sigurdsson was brought off the bench by Eustace, replacing Tyrhys Dolan.
The Iceland international quickly played his part in getting his side back on level terms. The winger intercepted a loose pass across the Millwall backline, before showing impressive composure to tee up Szmodics to fire in the leveller.
That impact saw the Blackburn Rovers man earn a 7/10 rating from the Lancashire Telegraph, who said:
“Set up the equaliser after latching on to a loose pass.”
According to SofaScore, Sigurdsson ultimately recorded a pass success rate of 67% on Tuesday, successfully completing 14 out of 21 passes.
With his assist, he was also the only Blackburn Rovers to create a big chance throughout the course of the match. He was also involved in two duels during his time on the pitch.

With Millwall in a similarly perilous position at the wrong end of the table, this was something of an opportunity missed for Eustace’s side to pick up a big three points.
On Saturday, Blackburn Rovers host a Plymouth Argyle side who are level on points with them in the table, and have lost four of their last five, at Ewood Park.
As a result, that looks set to be another opportunity that they simply have to take, and bringing Sigurdsson into the starting lineup could help to do that.
The 24-year-old brought some much needed urgency to Blackburn Rovers when he came off the bench on Tuesday.
That is something they will surely look for again at the weekend, while his assist showed he can create the sort of chances his side need to win these matches.
Indeed, it is now seven goals and four assists in 32 appearances in all competitions for Sigurdsson this season.
Those returns make him one of Blackburn Rovers’ most effective operators in front of goal, meaning he is one they must hope to get more of that impact from in a game as important as Saturday’s.
